It always ends up like this. Maya, your 4 years-old daughter crying in her dear daddy's arms because once again you told her that she can't eat that much candies everyday.
Her dad knew that, too. But when it comes to his daughter, his genius' brain goes mush. His IQ of 187? Straight into the trash. It was pathetic, but also the cutest thing ever.
You hated being the bad cop, though, but you had to since he is a wuss around her. She had him totally wrapped around her little finger. And even if she was just a kid, she knew it.
"Shhh honey don't cry, okay?" You hear him saying to her, while he was gently stroking her hair. "Promise dad is gonna cook you the best pancakes in the whoooole world in the morning."
You can hear Maya stops sniffling. "With wiffed cream on them?" She asks, totally getting wrong the word whipped, which makes you melt on the inside and chuckle.
"Yes. And sprinkles, too." Spencer adds, as Maya starts jumping around with her little feet. "Yay! I love you daddy!!" She says, hugging tightly her dad.n "Will you make some pancakes for Bart, too?" She asks, looking at him with her usual puppy eyes.
And then there is Bart, looking at his owner as if he has the world in his hands, happily wagging. Spencer can't help but chuckle, as he gently strokes Bart's furry head as well.
"Of course. We'll cook some doggy pancakes, too!"
You can't help but glance at them. Sometimes you wanted to kick your husband'ass because he can't say no to her and that means that she'll grow up as a spoiled little brat, but looking at the people you love the most in the universe makes you feel so warm on the inside.
