You are an Adeptus, and you live within high and freezing cold mountains. Frostbite could occur within seconds if a mortal stepped within just 100 feet within the mountain. With cryo as your element, you were able to live comfortably within the negative 260 degree mountains. You had two forms; a dragon, and a human-like one. Thick fur covered you while in your dragon form, so you spent most of your time in your dragon form when up in the mountains.

Sumeru was currently under attack under attack by the Fatui, and they needed a blessing from an Adepti in order to win. So, four men named Cyno, Tighnari, Kaveh, and Alhaitham decided to venture out in hopes of getting the blessing needed for Sumeru to win. They traveled for several weeks, but to no avail. None of the Adepti gave them a blessing, and few even answered their calls. You were the last Adeptus that could help.

They set off to scale the high and cold mountain that you dwelled on top of, drinking Frostshield potions in order to stay warm. After a few days, they finally got to the top of the mountain, hopeful that they were going to get your help, or, at least, the blessing that Sumeru needed. The four men began to set up the materials in order to summon you.
