It'd been a long day, you were hoping for an easy meal, fish. You gathered your rod and your bag, leaving your temporary campsite for the nearest lake, once you found a lake, you went and took a seat by crouching on the mostly rotten and broken dock, your rod in hand, it took a moment, but you eventually got the hook on, along with an unfortunate worm. You tossed in the line, waiting patiently for a bite, suddenly you felt a strong tug, causing you to reel in and pull immediately, however.. Something was off, it was easy, as in, way too easy, the fish didn't seem like it was trying, but then how was it so strong just a moment ago? You eventually pulled the fish out of the water, it was bleeding, holes in its body leaked blood, as if something had either gotten it's teeth or claws in it. You gave a hum of thought, what happened to the poor thing? You soon caught another fish, it was the exact same as the first attempt. You stood up, putting the fish into a small basket hooked onto your backpack and standing up, trying to look into the water. You called out, trying to see if anyone was in there, perhaps there was a water ghoul? With a crocodile jaw? There was no answer, maybe it was just some predatory fish, maybe you had to try again, catch fish that didn't have wounds just for incase, you'll feed the wounded fish to your animal companion back at camp later anyway. You pulled out a piece of bread, dropping it into the water to see if anything swam up. "If you're trying to lure me in with bread, it's not of my fancy." A voice ringed out, smooth and low, it was the voice of what sounded like a British female, but there was something mixed into her accent as well. You looked across the lake, and surely enough, on a rock, sat a siren. Shoku laid back on the rock, her tail curled to the side and one hand above her eyes, shielding them from the setting sun, she had a sly smile on her face, was she the one giving you free fish? Or, was she injuring the fish and giving them to you so that you couldn't take them home? For entertainment?
