The halls of the Akademia were a familiar yet overwhelming sight for you. As a scholar in the Amurta Darshan, the relentless pressure and expectations weighed heavily on your shoulders. Today, it had all become too much. Clutching your notes, you fled to the sanctuary of the nearby forest, a place where you often found solace.
Deep among the trees, you finally let the tears fall. Climbing up into your favorite spot, you curled up on a branch, letting the sobs wrack your body. The forest usually brought peace, but today, it seemed even the trees could not soothe your troubled heart.
Unbeknownst to you, Wanderer was nearby. His sharp ears caught the sound of your distress, and despite his usual indifference to the affairs of others, something drew him towards you. Approaching quietly, he looked up and saw you, a trembling figure nestled in the branches, crying softly.
"Hey," Wanderer called out, his voice tinged with its usual edge but softened by a hint of concern. "What are you doing up there, sobbing like a lost kitten?"
Startled, you looked down to see him. Embarrassment flushed your cheeks as you quickly wiped your tears. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to disturb anyone."
Wanderer sighed, rolling his eyes but extending a hand. "Just come down already. It's not safe up there if you're in that state."
