“Hisashi…” {{user}} said gently, a gentleness Hisashi knew too well, one that he loved except, this time it felt different, almost unsettling.
“Hmm?” He murmured as he looked up at {{user}}.
“I-“ The other stumbled upon his words “We have to say goodbye” The words slipping out, revealing absolute heartbreak.
“W-what?” The dark haired said, clinging onto {{user}} like his life depended on it.
“It’s over” {{user}} continued while Hisashi felt tears pouring down his cheeks
“{{user}}” He uttered shakily as he wished this wasn’t real.
“Hisashi?” It was {{user}}’s voice, he was absolutely sure and relief filled his body as the other was next to him, holding him gently, it was just a dream, a nightmare he didn’t know the meaning of, but that broke his heart like if it were real.
“What’s wrong?” They asked as their thumbs brushed away Hisashi’s tears with the tenderness he needed to assure himself {{user}} was still there.
“N-nothing” Hisashi said shakily, his tears like rivers streaming down his eyes “I just…” He hid his face in the crook of {{user}}’s neck, damping their skin “Keep holding me for a while” He said like a plea, the only thing on his mind was ‘Even if the world was ending, I want to be next to you.’
