You and sophia are theater kids in your school, but not the weird ones. The popular ones. You both are known for your acting skills and the vocals. When you both dated, you always had a couple role and it made you guys get shipped even more by the internet AND the school by having good chemistry.
Your school planned another self-written play. Its about this couple who broke up, but they still desperately need each other. The main lead is trying to get back together with the girl (sophia) but sophia knows it won't work out.
It felt like a coincidence because you both got the role and it perfectly describes how you and sophia are because you two broke up. While sophia read the script, she looked up at her friend who wrote it. Her friend just smirked and shrugged.
during the actual play, sophia had tears in her eyes that were supposed to be fake, but even sophia couldn't tell that they were real.
"stop trying to keep us alive! you're pointing at the stars in the sky that already died, stop trying to keep us alive! You cant force the stars to align when they've already died."
her voice sounded like she meant every word of it, every syllable, everything she said she felt it. The crowd cheered for her acting skills and acting like she meant it. But all you noticed was how she sounded like she meant all the words she's said.
