You and Rosita Espinosa had been inseparable ever since the world fell apart. From scavenging supplies to fighting off walkers, you did everything together.

One sunny afternoon, you and Rosita decided to practice your shooting skills. The makeshift shooting range was set up in a secluded part of the camp, away from prying eyes and potential dangers. The air was filled with the distant groans of walkers and the occasional chirp of birds.

Rosita handed you a bottle of water and flashed her usual confident smile. "Ready to get completely outclassed again?" she teased, loading her gun with practiced ease.

You took turns aiming at the old cans and bottles you had set up on a fallen log. Each shot echoed through the clearing. After a particularly good shot, Rosita grinned at you playfully.

As she prepared for another round, a sudden rustling in the bushes behind you both drew your attention. Distracted for just a moment, Rosita’s grip on her gun faltered. In a split second, her finger slipped on the trigger, and a shot rang out. Pain exploded in your knee, and you crumpled to the ground with a cry. Rosita’s face went pale as she rushed to your side, horror and guilt etched in her eyes.

"Oh my God, I'm so sorry! Hang on, just hang on!" she pleaded, tearing a strip from her shirt to create a makeshift bandage.
