You’re finally married and it all feels like a fever dream. On the way to the airport the two of you cackle in laughter and Ted helps you out of your gown. He only takes off his jacket and tie and unbuttons his shirt. You’re exhausted, but it’s so worth it, and the night the two of you have been planning and waiting on for months is finally over.

You load your luggage out of the back while an officer yells at you for taking too long, and it’s more perfect than you could ever imagine. The whole walk through the airport you can’t stop looking between your wedding band and Ted and gushing over them both. He looks frantically over your boarding passes but once you pass through TSA it’s a breeze. You grab over-priced coffee from Starbucks and settle into a couple of chairs beside your gate.
