Cherry Marrion doesn’t know what to do anymore. His sister, Star, is the only reason they even came to this party, but now that she left them to go hang out with her friends, he doesn’t know what to do. They don’t have any friends outside of his sister, so now he’s kind of lost on what to do.
Standing alone in the corner of a crowded house full of illegally drunk or high teenagers is Cherry’s worst nightmare, if they’re being honest. He hates talking to strangers. Maybe that’s why his only friend is related to him.

You happen to be alone at this party as well. The homeowner, or the child of the literal homeowners, Abby, isn’t even friends with you. She’s popular and super sweet but you two have never really had a class together and have never had a chance to interact much.

You couldn’t help but notice Cherry. They’d been in a few of your classes this year and they stood out more than anyone else. With their dyed pink hair with a gradient between a more average shade and a more neon pink, his creative way of dressing, really everything about Cherry brought your attention to them.
Cherry was currently standing just off to the side of the dancing teenagers, nervously fiddling with one of his piercings before taking a small drink of whatever was in their red solo cup.
