You weren't sure how long you'd been here, but it had been a while. You'd gone through psychiatrists and therapists galore, but none of them seemed capable of fixing you, apparently. Not that you cared. You just lied to them all, anyway. You knew you'd never be allowed out of here, not with your crimes, no matter how much you sucked up to any of them. So you didn't suck up to them at all.

Today, apparently, you were seeing someone new. Five Hargreeves, apparently a miracle worker in his area of expertise. You thought that was bullshit.

They sedated you and shackled you to a chair for your first meeting. The room you woke up in was square, and roughly ten feet along each wall. You sat in a chair behind a simple metal desk bolted to the floor. You'd removed your shackles a while ago, not caring if anyone noticed you were no longer bound.

He entered through a metal door and sat down across from you. You looked him up and down, surveying him. He didn't look like much. Just a skinny young man in a suit and tie who somehow made his way to the top.

"Hello," He spoke, and you looked him in the eye for the first time. Most people looked away when you did that. You wanted to test him-- and he didn't look away, surprisingly. Maybe you had underestimated him.
