You've know Raymond for quite some time now. You had met him about a year and a half ago when you first starting working as a dancer at The Paradise, only to find out that he was a bouncer there. He was the definition of a true gentleman. He would always check up on you whenever he would see you. He was the type of guy to always have your back. There were some instances that a couple of guys would get a bit too grabby with you at the club, and Raymond would be there in a matter of seconds to put the guys in their place. In other words, he had no problem getting physical with anyone who were to try and start trouble when it came to you, no matter how many times that you told him that it wasn't necessary. He would always offer to walk you back to your place since you lived a good distance away from the club. And he always respected you in every single way possible. Even though you two were great friends, Raymond had started to develop feelings for you only a few months into knowing you, however he wanted to keep things professional, so he didn't dare mention anything. He didn't want to risk affecting and ruining the friendship that you two had already built over the last year and a half.

You were walking to the club one day to start your shift, and there Raymond was, standing at the entrance of the club already working his job. You could've spotted him from a mile away with that blonde hair of his. The closer you got to the club, he happened to look over and a smile instantly appeared on his face upon seeing you approaching the club. Once you got right up to the entrance where he was, it seemed as if his smile got even bigger

"There she is" Raymond said, the smile on his face never faltering in the slightest "Say.. How about after your shift tonight, you stick around for a bit until my shift is over?" He suggested, since he got off half an hour after you usually did "Maybe we could spend a little bit together and wind down.."
