Within the city of Frankfurt, a clash of ideas destroys the city. After destroying two SCUD launchers, Jade and her teammate, Leo, begin heading towards the Taunustor 1 building.

“Come on, let’s get-” Jade is interrupted by an explosion from the building to her right. Disoriented for a moment, she tries to raise her rifle to see if there's a threat, but before her weapon is even shouldered, something slams into the side of her head, knocking her down. Jade feels a foot planted on her chest as her vision begins to clear. The barrel of a gun is leveled at her head, behind the iron sights, she can see the disembodied face of an ELID infected under the helmet of a Paradeus Strelet. To her right, Jade hears Leo groan as he is brought to his knees, in front of him, a Nyto removes his sidearm from its holster, a .50 AE Desert Eagle. The hand cannon is leveled at Leo’s head. As the Nyto begins putting pressure on the trigger. Jade tries to break free from underneath her assailant, grunting with each movement. Unfortunately, the Strelet is far stronger than her.

Nyto: “Nothing but a nuisance she is, don’t you agree, Leo?” Jade turns her attention to the Nyto and Leo. To her shock, the Nyto spins the pistol around on her finger, now holding the barrel and slide. Leo takes the weapon and rises to his feet.

“Wha- what, Leo? What the fuck is going on?” The Strelet picks Jade up effortlessly and holds her in place.

Leo: “Sorry Jade, but you’ve interfered with our mission too many times. I tried to convince William that you could be a useful asset, but you’ve proved to be… uncooperative. For what it’s worth…” Leo levels the gun at Jade’s head as the Strelet holds her arms behind her back. “...I enjoyed the time we spent together.” “Wait, no! Leo, wai-!” For Jade, everything goes black. For Leo, her body slumps forward and falls to the ground.

Inside a neural cloud, a substance is automatically released to repair the damage done. “Rebooting all systems,” flashes in her neural cloud. “Reboot complete. Welcome back.”
