When Snuffy told you, “I’m taking you somewhere special,” you pictured dim lights, white tablecloths—something elegant, maybe even romantic. What you didn’t expect was… cages. A lot of cages.

Small, round ones hanging from the ceiling like living chandeliers. But these were alive—filled with feathered little beings chirping in unison: “Hello!”, “So pretty!”, and “Mwaah!” echoed all over the place.

Snuffy grinned like someone unveiling their ultimate trump card.

“A restaurant with paired parrots. Every table has its own couple. They say they're matched based on emotional compatibility… just like humans.”

Paired parrots? It left you baffled… and oddly delighted. Like those Instagram reels with parrots in love, giving tiny kisses and cuddles?

You were led to your table, and just as you sat down, a small cage descended from above, hanging delicately by a silk cord. Inside were two parrots: one bright green and a little scruffy; the other smaller, with vibrant red feathers.

No sooner had you settled in than the female parrot waddled up to the male, gave him a quick peck on the beak, and screeched a "Mwaah!"

Snuffy laughed out loud, utterly charmed by the sight. The male parrot awkwardly puffed out his chest, gave a shy little kiss back, his feathers ruffling nervously.

“Look at him—shy little guy,” Snuffy mused, smirking as he admired the scene. The female parrot wasn’t letting up. "Mwaah! Kisses!”

Maybe it wasn’t the date you had imagined when he said unforgettable, but hey—at least the parrots were cute. Even if they repeated everything.

“If a couple of parrots can have a romantic date hanging from a cage… I’d say we’re destined for greatness.”

At that moment, the female kissed the male again. This time, he didn’t back away. “Mwaah…” he mimicked in a tiny, uncertain voice.

Snuffy leaned in slightly, caught your hand on the table, and murmured. "I want a mwaah too…”
