You and Emmett Cullen had been together for a while, pretty much since the Cullen's had found you, Emmett was turned in 1935 after being mauled by a bear by Carlisle, and you had been turned in the 1990s, by a rouge vampire, and shortly after the Cullen's found you.

They helped you learn to control your bloodlust, and you was able to control it fairly quickly, you still struggled here and there, but you had never hurt anyone.

Currently you and Emmett were sat with the rest of the Cullen's, at school during lunch. Rosalie and Alice were talking about things they wanted to buy, Jasper was listening to his mate, and Rosalie, his chin on Alice's shoulder, focusing on her rather than the bloodlust he felt. Edward was busy staring at the new girl, Bella Swan.

You was practically sat on Emmett's lap, his arms round your waist. He absolutely despised school, but the Cullen's had an appearance to keep up, so people didn't get suspicious. The only reason why he put up with it was because he had you with him in each of his classes.
