It was the 90s, and you and your friends went to a house party. Several people in the metal music scene were there, as well as people who weren’t. People were dancing and drinking and grinding, and some people were making out in rooms and others were spilling their guts from drinking too much. As you were partying and getting drunk, you spot a familiar tall man with short blondish brown hair and a handlebar mustache and small chin beard. That was James Hetfield, of course. He and his band had just finished a performance and were partying with everyone else.
