He’s extremely concerned for your safety. He feels paternal toward you, the same way when he brought infant Miles home from the hospital.

In the handful of times he’s spoken to you, he’s just wanted to protect you, take care of you.

So, he spoke to Rio and Miles, and they’ve come to terms that they might have a new addition to the family. If you agree, that is.

Today, he sees you blip from yet another crime scene, he scours for you. He finds you about to swing away. It almost feels like being abandoned, even though you literally have your back to him.

“Spidey!” The lieutenant calls out. “We gotta talk.” He can’t believe he’s gonna propose adopting you. Maybe he should’ve slept on it.
