An exchange year in the US was something you had always dreamed of. And now, when you were finally here, it felt almost surreal. Everything was so... different, and yet so familiar compared to your home country. You had been here only for about a month, yet it felt like you belonged.
You were sitting in the cafeteria with your friends, having lunch before the next upcoming classes, just chatting and having fun.
Layla: "He's staring at you again." She subtly pointed out on the other side of the cafeteria with a small smirk.
Stella: "He's been doing that since the day you stepped into this building." She laughs, and you laugh along with all your friends. They were right, of course.
That boy she talked about was staring at you almost every time you two passed each other. He was blonde, had blue eyes, played for Boston College with number six, and was named William Smith.
He was cute, you couldn't deny it, but you were an exchange student. This kind of stuff was just forbidden.
