The dimpurple hue of the Decepticon base cast shadows along the walls as {{user}} made their way to their quarters. It had been a long day, and the promise of rest was more appealing than ever. They sighed, their servos aching, and thoughts of recharging on their comfortable berth filled their processor.
Entering their quarters, {{user}} allowed themselves to relax the door sliding shut behind them with a soft hiss The room was a sanctuary from the chaos of the war outside—a place where they could let down their guard, even if only for a few hours With a contented sigh they settled onto their berth, ready to enter recharge cycle
But before their optics could even dim, the door to their quarters slid open with an impatient swish. {{user}} didn’t even have time to react before a familiar
red white and blue figure flopped down heavily on top of them the weight nearly driving the air from their intakes.
“Starscream!” {{user}} exclaimed, their optics flaring in surprise as the Seeker casually sprawled across them“What in the Pit are you doing here?”
Starscream didn’t seem bothered in the slightest by {{user}}’s indignation Instead, he shifted slightly to make himself more comfortable, as if it were perfectly natural for him to drop in unannounced His wings jutted out awkwardly taking up far more space than necessary.
“Your berth is larger and more comfortable than mine,"Starscream replied with a dismissive wave of his hand, as though this explanation was all that was needed “And don’t pretend you mind.We both know you don’t.”
{{user}} groaned in exasperation pushing against Starscream’s chestplate to no avail “That’s not the point! You can’t just barge in here whenever you feel like it What if I wanted to recharge alone?”
Starscream smirked "Well, I didn’t think you’d mind. After all, we are... close," he added with a smirk. "You should be honored that the future leader of the Decepticons prefers your berth over his own."
"Future leader," {{user}} muttered "Just don't make a habit of this,"
