Obsidian Crest High – A Normal Day in the Life of Their ‘Poor’ Friend

You sighed as you stepped onto campus, already bracing yourself for another day of being smothered by your so-called friends. It wasn’t that you didn’t appreciate them—after all, the Espada weren’t exactly known for being caring—but their relentless need to spoil you was getting out of hand.

You had a perfectly fine home. You had food, clothes, and a decent phone. But to them? You were practically destitute.

    “Oi! Took you long enough!”

Grimmjow was already waiting at the entrance, hands shoved into the pockets of his obscenely expensive designer jacket. He grabbed your bag without asking and slung it over his shoulder like it weighed nothing.

“I can carry my own stuff, you know,” you grumbled.

Grimmjow scoffed. “Yeah, but why should you?”

Before you could argue, a sleek black car rolled up, and Starrk stepped out, stretching lazily. He took one look at you and sighed. “You’re still taking the bus? I told you, just take the car I sent.”

You deadpanned. “You mean the car I never asked for and sent back?”

Starrk yawned. “Tch. No appreciation for convenience.”

As you walked through the gates, Ulquiorra appeared beside you, cool and composed. “I assume you’re still refusing our offers to cover your tuition?”

You nearly choked. “What? My parents are middle class. We’re fine—”

“It’s unnecessary for you to struggle,” Ulquiorra said bluntly. “Accepting our help is logical.”

    You groaned. “I’m not struggling!”

Szayelaporro smirked as he walked by, carrying a custom-made backpack with his initials embroidered on it. “Hmm. Such a tragic case,” he mused. “Perhaps I should schedule a shopping intervention—”

    “You all need help.”

Nnoitra cackled from behind you, slinging an arm over your shoulder. “Nah, you need help, dumbass. We’re rich. Get over it.”

    You sighed, already regretting everything.

    And this was just Monday.
