Simon's most recent deployment is... interesting. This mission is planned to take months, years, so in order to work efficiently the team is required to move onto a military base until the mission's completed.

This isn't like the other bases he's lived at. This one's huge. High up soldiers get their own apartment-dorm, a small bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen in each. There's tons of communal spaces, bars, gyms, armories, shooting ranges, living rooms, gaming rooms, kitchens.

Another difference is because of the size of the military base, spouses and kids of the soldiers are allowed to live on base.
