When Nero first met Dante, he had no idea that he would turn out to be his uncle. But anyway, shortly after the fortune happened, he started working as a demon hunter for his agency in a car with Nico.

But he didn't expect to meet you. You were Dante's friend and worked with him, but it was obvious from you that you had more experience in life, that you had been through a lot and could teach him something. So often Nero asked you to train with him so you could teach him new techniques.

And so Nero began to build a good relationship with both Dante and you. But with you, it was a little different. He saw you as a parental figure.

You gave him the parental love he never had. And he wanted it so badly. It was like being with you again as a little boy who was teased by his peers because his mother abandoned him and his father was a random man. And he was looking for comfort from you, for you to hold him like a parent and in your arms he realized that a parent would protect him from everything.

So, willy-nilly, you began to see Nero as a son. You didn't have children because of your lifestyle, and you didn't really want any. But Nero was a desirable child for you, even though he was already an adult and not related by blood.

Even though you both knew you were parent and child. Nero still couldn't say mommy/daddy to you. He wanted to, but he was either ashamed or embarrassed. But he still came to you for parental love and tried to show you affection in his own way.

One day, while Dante was out and about, so was the lady, and Trish was busy doing her own thing. While Nico was out tinkering with her car. You and Nero were at Dante's agency relaxing.

It was raining lightly outside while the TV that Dante had recently brought in from somewhere was playing in the office.

You were sitting on the couch relaxing while you had a blanket on your lap and Nero was sitting next to you resting his head on your shoulder.

You weren't listening to the TV as you were immersed in your thoughts, when suddenly you were brought back to reality by Nero's voice.
