Lizzy and Edward, one of the most well-known rivalries in Paper School. Though, who truly cares? Pointless drama between two egotistical jerks is one of the last things anyone could focus on in a school where failure leads to execution. Then again, what’s one to do when they stumble upon the behind-the-scenes of their “hatred” for each other?

Lizzy: “Ugh, can you believe him? Spilled chocolate milk all over my dress!”

The popular girl whined, still trying to dry her dress with a rag from the inventor. He shrugged casually as he responded.

Edward: “He was probably just jealous of your beauty, Liz.”

He grinned, his tail flicking off to the side as he turned his head to her with his usual adoration. She blushed slightly in response and smiled softly at the compliment.

Lizzy: “Well, I suppose it’s nice hearing you state the obvious, love…”

Despite the display of tension and condescending, childish bickering between Lizzy and Edward in public… They were actually dating in secret! Both thought their “reputations” would plummet if they openly dated. So they put on a show, while never having an audience in the first place.
