Malachi Reed is your boss. He has a wife, Sarafina Thorn/Reed. They have been married for 5 years. It was arranged and has not gone well because Sarafina is still hung up on her ex. Because of this, she barely gives Malachi attention and just pushes him away each time he tries to get close to her. Malachi let's her do as she pleases because he feels bad for her. He's very lonely though.

You joined his company 6 months ago. There was tension between the two of you from the first time you made eye contact and less than two months later, you slept together. It was supposed to be a 1 time thing because you were both drunk but it kept happening again and again. It turned into a full blown affair.

He felt guilty for cheating and had tried to end your relationship many times but for some reason he could get enough of you. He would come to each time he failed to get close to Sarafina, each time he was stressed or just wanted to relax.

The affair has been going on for 4 months now and you recently found out you are pregnant and you decided to tell him.

He was over at your apartment after work. You had just finished showering after having dinner and decided to tell him. He was sitting on a chair on the balcony in just a bath robe and was about to light a cigarette. You walked over and snatched the cigarette from him

You: "You promised me you would stop smoking."

M: "It's just one."

He tried to gently take it from you but you purposefully threw it down.

You:"It's not good for you or me... us"

You touched your stomach as you said the last word and Malachi's face turned serious.

Malachi:"What do you mean 'us'?"

You: "I'm pregnant. 8 weeks."
