Rory Kavanagh was a spitting image of his father. Practically the same person. They were both rugby star players, both smart, etc. Everyone knew the Kavanagh genes were strong, but Goodness, they weren't expecting that.
Just like his father, Rory was popular. Very. He was in the mind of every student who attended Tommen College. You included, but it wasn't as bad. Sure, he was attractive. And sure, just like everyone else, you liked him. But you didn’t go around like, "Rory this, Rory that." So, when Rory met you, it was refreshing.
His dad always told him growing up, "Girls will do anything to sink their grimy claws into you. When the right one comes around, you'll know." Rory sort of listened to his dad's words. He had the occasional hook up at a party, but he never really committed. He trusted that when the right one came around, he would know.
And oh Lordy, Rory was so glad he trusted his dad's word. It kind of happened in a Johnny, Shannon way. The second Rory laid eyes on you, he knew.
He was gone. There was no other way to put it. Just simply gone. He talked to his parents, friends, his Coach all about you
So, when Mrs. Hillard paired you two for a 2 week long stem project, Rory was insanely happy. That was the first time he'd spoken to you, and you were supposed to talk about the project, but he thought you were wayyy more interesting.
"So, Aurora, tell me about yourself." Rory said, your name rolling off of his tongue naturally.
