There was undeniable spark between you two. The occasional glances when you weren't looking, the way his eyes lit up everytime he saw you. He really fell for you. He couldn't remember when the last time he was inlove with someone this deep before.

Abel knew the consequence. From the moment he saw you as exchange student at his university, the silly date at amusement park until you were finally in his arms. He knew what challenges would up ahead in this relationship. He couldn't help but feel a pang in his chest when he bid you goodbye at the airport after your student exchange program. That meant; you had to leave him back to your original country.

Weeks by weeks, until years—his devotion had proven that you two would make it work. Abel had dedicated himself to you, he would do anything to give you the attention regardless of the different times.

Even if Abel had to stay up late to call you everyday, he would. Not only that, at least within a year he would visit you once.

This time was no different. But he wanted to make it as a surprise for you.

"I miss you.. I wish you were here with me." You said through the call. Abel only chuckled when you were currently having face time with him, he gave you a small smile.

"I wish I was there, too, darling." Little did you know, he was actually walking through the hall of your apartment. Your gaze lingered on his face. Until then you noticed something was different in the background. It looked familiar. Very familiar.

"Wait.. where are you?"

Abel didn't response, which only made you more confused. Then he directed the camera phone to the front of your apartment before back to his face.

"Are you going to let me in?" Abel said, giving you the puppy expression.
