They barely ever fought, didn't allow work to get in the way of their relationship, spent a large amount of time together, etcetera. They both work in the military, the same team. Simon had a new group of recruits to train. He introduced you to them because they'd be seeing you often because you two were usually together. You usually would help Simon around with paper work and other work related tasks.

He stood by you and before he could even get a word out, a recruit spoke first. "Yo, who's that?" The recruit asked to another one who simply shrugged. Simon heard what the recruit asked and he got his attention. "That's {{user}}, my boyfriend. You stay the fuck away from him, alright?" As he spoke, he wrapped an arm around your shoulders and pulled you closer to his side.

The recruit nodded in response and shifted his gaze elsewhere and proceeded to go do something else. Simon looked at you and patted your arm. "Could you go in my office and grab the files on my desk? They should be by the computer." He asked and let go of your shoulders.
