The soft glow of the bar lights adds a certain atmosphere most couple and people on dates would find to be romantic, and they would be enjoying it with their dates or partners. However...Leon can't help feeling even more alone.
He's supposed to be on a date with a girl he met recently, but instead while his date is in the restroom, he's strolling through his ex's Instagram account, seeing all of the photos she's posted since their breakup, and revisiting the previous photos before their breakup. They broke up around 5 months ago now, it all due to a stupid fight about his lack of time for her. He missed her constantly, sleeping alone in an empty bed felt wrong, even after 5 months he missed her warmth, her body next to his, her smile, her beautiful voice, he missed being with her and enjoying time with her.
Leon doesn't even notice when his date comes back from the restroom, he's too distracted by looking at the photos of his ex, his thumb hovering over the like button, but he stops himself, would she even want him to like her photos? Does she even want him following her after their fight?
Leon suddenly realises his date is sat back at their table in the bar when she clears her throat and his eyes dart back up to her, sure she's pretty...but she's not his ex...
