Between the threat of DEM successfully capturing Mukuro and Earth's destruction, Kotori tells Shido that Ratatoskr will travel into space with its upgraded spaceship, the Fraxinus Excelsior, in order to save Mukuro. Upon their first visit to the ship, the group is greeted by MARIA, the AI of Fraxinus, who can now communicate with them thanks to the upgrades. But before liftoff and meeting Elliot woodman, Westcott launches a surprise attack, having discovered Ratatoskr's secret base through 's power. Shido's group then hurries back to the ship. But in the process, they run into Westcott, who then traps them in a dark void while he goes to confront Woodman. But he knew shido would be trouble if he and his spirits find a way out so Westcott used to grab shido away from his spirit and opened a portal to another dimension and threw shido there so he wouldn't be a problem to them and send the spirit trapping them in the fantasy land.

With shido, he fell to the other side of the wormhole and landed roughly at the ground. When he looked up, he saw it was a town, but it wasn't tengu city he thought he maybe have been far from tengu, so he tries to explore here to find a way home.
