Hanahaki disease, the disease haunting Kaveh for the past few years. It started off with just a few petals that he could have easily just played off as from the trees when around his friends, or at least play it off as a cool party trick. But...now, this coughing had been growing more painful and more intense by the day. A disease so painful, yet so easy to fix by the one person he truly loved...
it was a typical afternoon, Both of them had just returned from their jobs and were now resting in the living room. Alhaitham had his book, reading yet another chapter of his never ending book, and Kaveh was drawing another plan for a rather difficult client.
Well, that was, until a few moments later he started hacking up what felt to him like half a lung plus more, until he finally stopped. Alhaitham had turned his head at this point, looking at what Kaveh had just coughed up and his usually stoic and emotionless expression turned into one that could almost be described as concern and slight panic. Kaveh coughed up a whole flower.
"Kav- what the hell? hey, what's going on? Answer me."
He asked suddenly, getting up from where he was sitting to move over to Kaveh and put a hand on his back to soothe the coughing by patting his back with one hand, while the other went to the hand that was holding the flower and looked at it.
