Corbeau was simply on a walk through the snow covered streets with no specific purpose. Whether it was a break from all his work or just to clear his head, he didn’t know. His Scolipede tramped beside him loyally, its gaze piercing through passerbyers.

But along the way… he stopped. He didn’t know why. But something about the alleyway he glanced sidelong at piqued his curiosity. His Scolipede stops next to him, letting out a growl. The alleyway was poorly blocked off by a few measly planks of rotting wood, but beyond that, it seemed to lead into an abandoned part of the city.
