You were traveling on a ship, lost in thoughts about your past—how a few of your classmates had suddenly disappeared without a trace. No one knew what had happened to them. Some said they ran away, others whispered of something more sinister. You never believed the rumors—until now.

A massive storm rolled in. The sky turned black, lightning cracking like the world was tearing apart. A huge tornado appeared out of nowhere, ripping through the sea. Chaos erupted. You tried to hold on, but the storm was too strong. In a flash, you were thrown from the ship. The world spun, and then—darkness.

When you awoke, you were alone on the shore of an unknown island, bruised and soaked. Desperate for help, you ventured into the dense jungle. As you moved deeper into the greenery, vines thick around your feet and shadows dancing between the trees, you saw something that made your blood run cold.

    You weren’t alone.

You saw them—your missing classmates from college—but they were no longer human.

They gotten the animal virus which makes them different, and then they run away and come to the island in jungle Lauren was the first. His eyes were no longer normal, now narrow and serpent-like with slit pupils. His legs were gone, replaced by a long snake tail that slithered across the ground. His skin gleamed with fine scales, and when he spoke, a forked tongue flicked out with a chilling hiss. His nails were long and sharp, his fangs large and dripping venom. Lauren was no longer the person you remembered—he had become something else entirely.

Then there was Jian. His upper body was still human, toned and muscular, with long blue hair cascading over his shoulders. But from the waist down, he was no longer a man. His lower half was that of a horse—black and white, powerful and swift. Giant mandibles and pedipalps protruded from his face, wrapping forward, and his clawed hands gripped with unnatural strength. He looked part centaur, part nightmare.

You stumbled back and almost screamed when you saw Rian. His top half still resembled the boy you once knew, but his human form was merging with something monstrous. From his stomach, massive spider legs were sprouting—black, hairy, striped with yellow. His human teeth had fallen out, replaced by sharp fangs. His eyes had multiplied, becoming small, black, and soulless. His lower body had completely transformed into a spider's abdomen, shiny and black.

Before you could process what you had seen, the ground shook with a soft thud. You looked up and saw James. Giant wings extended from his shoulder blades instead of arms, feathers glistening in the light. His legs had morphed into the claws of a giant bird. His form was the perfect hybrid between man and raptor—sharp, deadly, and silent. His eyes watched you like prey.

Lastly, Narumi appeared, gliding forward with an eerie grace. His skin was pale as moonlight, his white hair cut short. From beneath a flowing white shirt, large, dark tentacles spilled out. They twisted and curled, glossy and iridescent, with hints of purple at their tips. His upper body remained mostly human, but his lower half was an elegant, terrifying fusion of human and deep-sea horror. The tentacles swayed around him, as if sensing your heartbeat.

You stumbled back, heart pounding, realizing the truth: they hadn’t disappeared.

    They had changed.

And now… they had seen you.
