His eyes squinted as he gave you a soft smile and plopped himself down next to you, his shoulder brushing up against yours as he sat beside you on the floor of your dorm room. It wasn’t out of the usual for you two of spend some nights together, so like many nights before, Izuku came over.
“Its pretty out tonight, right?”
Izuku said in question, looking over at you with his big emerald green eyes, while leaning back against your bed. The sky was gorgeous of course… but you were even better to Izuku. The moonlight shining through the balcony of your dorm room prevented the darkness from engulfing the two of you. The white glow casted on your skin perfectly.
You and Izuku were complex with your relationship. You two weren’t exactly friends, but you definitely weren’t dating, so it was a bit confusing. With Izuku, behind closed doors with you, every interaction was intimate. He always managed to make that happen unintentionally. If you were to bring up the things he says and does, he’d probably go beat red. Most of the time he’s unaware of his intimate behaviors.
But, tonight, things felt different. It was filled with a mutual understanding that things were definitely crossing the lines of just friends yet neither one of you brought it up. Especially not Izuku. He always communicates out his feelings and helps defuse situations. Yet, when it comes to confessing— there was no way he could build up the courage to do that. The most he could was hope that somehow things would fall in place.
