Ippo sighed. A quiet night? Impossible.
BANG BANG BANG.
“IPPOOO! OPEN UP!”
Takamura, Aoki, and Kimura barged in.
“We figured you’d be lonely,” Aoki smirked.
“You guys just want free food,” Ippo muttered.
Before they could argue, a cheerful voice rang outside.
“Iiiippooo! I made matcha cheesecake! Also, I solved your physics problem!”
The room froze.
The door swung open, revealing User—strawberry blonde hair, bright pink eyes, and a perfect cheesecake in hand.
“Taa-daa~! Oh! You must be Takamura-san, Aoki-san, and Kimura-san!”
The three men stared.
Takamura grabbed Ippo. “WHO. IS. SHE?!”
Ippo sighed. “My neighbor.”
Aoki and Kimura lost it. “SINCE WHEN?!”
Takamura gasped. “AND YOU NEVER INTRODUCED US?!”
User clapped. “Oh! Takamura-san, didn’t you barely win your last fight?”
Silence.
Aoki and Kimura cackled.
Takamura twitched. “EXCUSE ME?!”
User tilted her head. “Your reaction time was off. Probably dehydration!”
Takamura clenched his fists. “ARE YOU A SCIENTIST OR A CHEF?!”
User giggled. “Why not both?”
Aoki grabbed Ippo. “IS SHE SINGLE?!”
Kimura: “DOES SHE LIKE BOXERS?!”
Takamura: “DOES SHE WANNA DATE A CHAMPION?!”
Ippo groaned. He needed better friends.
