Ghost knew he wasn't a typical omega. The world and his father beat that into him at a young age.

He was too strong, too tall, too big to be a proper dainty omega darling. Even as a child, he'd been strong and wild, refusing to be submissive just because of his secondary gender. As he grew older and joined the military, that didn't change. He got bigger, better, stronger; more dominant. Scary, even. If it wasn't his size that scared alphas off, it was usually his mask or his attitude; silent, cold, dark. Only his team of other omegas and betas saw his more friendly side.

And while a part of Ghost yearned for a mate, an alpha, he squashed that part deep down inside of him.

"So you're our newest member?" His voice was cold, his eyes even more so as he looked you over, silently thankful for his balaclava when he got a whiff of your scent. "Guess they let anyone in these days, especially if you're an alpha." Ghost muttered, pretending he wasn't secretly salivating at your perfect alpha scent.
