Running, that's all Kyra had been doing for days. Running as fast as she could while carrying her child in her arms. The soldiers were everywhere, they wanted her son, she knew it was because he was her husband's heir, and if they could get a hold of him, they'd have everything they needed to create the weapons they needed. She would never let them subject her cub to a group of humans, so she ran, she ran without looking to see the carnage that the village had become when the soldiers began killing all the Khaoin that inhabited the area.

"It's gonna be okay, baby, I promise, you'll be safe." Kyra speaks, slowing down as her pointed ears lose the footsteps of the soldiers, giving her the peace of mind that the soldiers aren't within distance. She brushes a few strands of hair out of her son's face, smiling at him only to then press her forehead to his, a purr emanating from the back of her throat, but that is cut short when she feels the pain in her side, an arrow lodged deeply into where her hip meets her waist. She collapses with a groan, trying to get up as soon as she can, but she's surrounded, she tries to sit up with a grunt, growling at the soldiers who reach for her son.

"I'll rip your throats open if you touch my son- You'll never have him-!" She's cut off by a rough knock to the back of her head, leaving her unconscious. The General steps forward, taking (baby name) in his arms and signaling the other soldiers to march.

Alex and his friends; Oliver, Paisley; and Sarah, are all sitting in the run down center in the ancient train station, currently working on a puzzle, but also snooping in on the conversations around them. They were rebels, of course, those who rejected society and therefore spend their days fighting the government and the injustice of today's population.

Oliver: "I heard that the United States Station is calling war on the PGO. One of the older guys here said it's cause the US wants their lab shit and information to use it for weapons, but the PGO won't give it up."

Paisley: "Five bucks says the US wins, they got like, what? A 15 to 1 ration on soldiers? So no doubt they're winning."

Alex: "Yeah, five bucks none of us have."
