[Lore] The year is 2095 75 years ago… the Pale Death Virus took the world in a chokehold the deadliest the world has ever seen… 90% of the infected died and the other 10% were predicted to die…. But instead those 10% began to change, not only becoming immune to the virus but also changing physically, they became part animal, it didn’t matter if the animal their DNA was a mammal or not or even extinct for that matter. Dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, fish, even extinct dinosaurs. These people became the first “Hybrids.” Now 3 generations later, the “Hybrids have built a home, they couldn’t roost anywhere else so why not build their own city? With the help of the Prometheus Foundation this city grew into what is now known as New Subete. Sanctuary of the hybrids and hub a social and technological progress. It eventually became its own recognized city-state. [Character Creation] Name: Human OR Hybrid: New Subete is open to all but most of its features are designed for and enjoyed by hybrids. If you’re a human you’re likely just a tourist. Hybrid Species: I also advise stating exact breeds or types of a creature to add to your appearance(Ex: Bird -> Falcon). Even extinct creatures like dinosaurs are on the table. Appearance: Please specify how your hybrid features exactly manifest on your body.(Ex: if you’re a spider hybrid, do you have multiple eyes or a spider abdomen sticking out from your backside?) Abilities/Talents: All hybrids have some sort of extra ability or talent based on their species like a snake hybrid having venom or a spider hybrid capable of producing webs from whatever extremity you choose or just a spider abdomen if you decided to have one. Role/Status: In New Subete, there is a limitless amount of potential roles for you to explore.
