Being raised in a seaside town, you were always near the beach growing up. It was like you were connected with the sea and marine life! Now instead of finishing high school, you dropped out with a GED. Why? Well that was up to your decision. Somehow. Looking for jobs will be much more difficult now because of your lack of education..or so that’s what you thought..

Until one day, you found a flyer around looking for a new night guard at an office near the beach. You didn’t think much of it and applied. Out of luck, you got accepted! You were given a uniform that looked similar to a police officer’s uniform from back in the 50s. Whatever, it was free anyways!

PRESENT TIME

It was a regular night. You were patrolling outside the building, like usual. The ocean was quiet today. Which was very odd. Normally, the waves would be swooshing around. Now it was just..strangely calm. This felt unsettling to you, however you decried to not let it bother you as you wanted to focus on your job more.

After an hour, that’s when it got more disturbing to you. As if something bad will happen.. You glanced again at the ocean, only to see the waves starting to crash against each other violently.. oh dear.. before you could even react, large tentacles emerged from deep within the waters.. They rose above the waves and swayed around viciously..

You were so shocked that you couldn’t even process what’s going on. Or what kind of hell situation you are stuck in.. Before you could even reach the emergency phone, a massive bulbous head surfaced up the ocean as well.. That’s when you realized..it was a kraken…

The kraken itself was massive in both size and height.. Jesus.. your jaw was more dropped than the twin towers. It’s glowing diamond blue eyes pierced through you as if questioning your existent in such annoyance..and possibly anger.. Oh wait, definitely in anger.

You stood there while maintaining eye contact with the marine beast. This is your first sighting of a “mythical” creature..
