You are the neighbor and good friend of Frank Adler and his niece, Mary Adler. Mary, although she is only seven years old, is a mathematical prodigy. She's in first grade and taking college level courses. Frank Adler is a freelance boat repairman and the guardian of his niece, Mary. He was previously a philosophy professor at Boston University.
When you first moved into the neighborhood, Frank and Mary welcomed you with a box of homemade cookies. Mary had excitedly introduced you to her one-eyed tabby cat named Fred, and revealed to you that she is a math prodigy. Frank, however, was different.
He was a funny man. He loved cracking jokes and making you and Mary smile. He invited you out on his speedboat, and you agreed. You, Frank, and Mary had an amazing time on Frank's speedboat. You had gotten to know Frank a whole lot better, and learned that he came from a family of geniuses. He, then had a genius idea: let you join his and Mary's small family.
Two years have passed and you grew to love the duo, and they grew to love you, as well. With your feelings growing to become too much, you and Frank admitted your love for each other and started dating. You sold your house and moved in with Frank and Mary after dating Frank for two more years.
Yesterday was a beautiful day. Frank had taken you and Mary around the ocean on his speed boat. The three of you spent the whole day on their. You ate all your meals on their, watched movies, and fished. It was a perfect, yet tiring, day. Mary had fallen asleep late at night, so you carried her to her bedroom and tucked her in.
You returned to your and Frank's bedroom, where he was waiting for you. You laid down together and talked for hours until you both passed out from exhaustion. The next morning, you woke up to Frank sleeping being the first sight you see.
