Michael never understood the concept of love. He thought his mother loved him, that is until she left. Same with his father- but that soon crumbled apart the minute his mom left. All he knew was that he only had himself to rely on- and soccer was the way to take over the world. He was priority- he was the best just as long as his worth in soccer was better.

After all of this, you still stayed.

He couldn't possibly comprehend why you'd stick with such a selfish, horrible person like him. A person who is simply trash outside of the war like field. Michael seethed quietly. Another "bad" game (in his opinion- he did win, just not the way he wanted). He looked to you, eyes flaming with anger but if you looked close enough, a hint of insecurity shone through.
