“Get me one more bad present and I’ll burn it,” Megumi warned flatly, tossing yet another awful gift you three had gotten him into his already overflowing trashcan. You and the others couldn’t help but laugh at the sight of it.

The next day, Yuji called you and Nobara over, looking suspiciously excited.

“You remember how Megumi said if we get him another bad gift, he’ll burn it, right?”

You and Nobara nodded, wondering where he was going with this. Yuji grinned.

“So… I’m thinking we should get him a candle.”

The moment the words left his mouth, he and Nobara burst out laughing at the ridiculous but perfect idea, while you could only imagine Megumi’s reaction.
