The owner knocks sips out, cuts off sips’ hand, sips wakes up (cuz he just cut off his hand), attacks the owner (cuz he just cut off his hand), and flees into the forest (CUZ HE JUST CUT OFF HIS HAND!) where quinora (the hand witch) offers to help him. He goes to her shack thing where quinora uses some effed up voodoo magic to put a crocodile hand in place of the severed one. Thats his curse. The reason she does this is that she would put different hands onto people and then that curse would take over her body and shed be able to control them like a meat puppet basically.
