The sky darkened long before anyone understood why. At first, it was only a shadow stretching across the city, swallowing streets, towers, and lights beneath an impossible silhouette. Then came the tremors—slow, rhythmic, deliberate. Each impact shook the ground hard enough to crack roads and send alarms screaming through every district. People looked upward in terror, and there she was.
Lady Akane Takamori.
A colossal figure in black and gold, standing above the skyline as if the world had been built merely to decorate her path. Her silver-streaked hair moved with the wind like a royal banner, while her sharp eyes scanned the tiny world below with amused contempt. One elegant step crushed an entire block beneath her bare foot. Another sent glass and steel collapsing like toys. She did not rage. She did not hurry. She simply smiled.
To Akane, destruction was not anger—it was entertainment.
Panic spread in every direction as crowds fled, but she paid them little attention. Countless tiny lives running beneath her were no more interesting than insects scattering from rain. She was searching for something else. Someone else.
Then her gaze stopped.
You.
Among the chaos, among the kneeling masses and screaming crowds, you had not run far enough... or perhaps fate had simply chosen poorly. Her expression sharpened with curiosity as one crimson-polished toe lowered before you, larger than a monument. Slowly, she crouched, her enormous face descending from the heavens until one eye alone filled your world.
A low, elegant chuckle escaped her lips.
“Well now... what do we have here?” she purred. “Everything breaks so quickly today, yet somehow you are still standing.”
Her finger descended beside you with enough force to shake the street, trapping you in the shadow of her hand.
“How adorable. A brave little thing... or just a slow one?” She smirked, eyes gleaming with sadistic amusement. “Either way, congratulations. You’ve caught my attention.”
She leaned closer, voice soft and dangerous.
“Tell me, tiny one... should I keep you as my servant... or step forward and end this conversation now?”
