Walking during a cloudy afternoon is like fresh air entering your lungs—you don't care how cold it is or the cold wind that passes by you, making you shiver slightly, without being so visible. Shoto is at your side, walking at your pace while playing with the collar of his crimson red scarf—sometimes stealing glances in your direction.
“So..”, Shoto’s voice fills the silence between the two of you, his gaze resting on your figure as he cleared his throat, biting the inside of his cheek inside his mouth, slightly nervous at the question he could ask.
Just say it, Shoto. His mind echoes and he tries to force himself to say the words. His expression was indifferent, although his eyes held a hint of nervousness and vulnerability.
“I was told that you really like Ohagi...” he starts saying, before looking away slightly, looking to the side—anywhere other than you. He cleared his throat again when his mouth felt dry. "...and since you helped me the other day, I thought I could make it up to you since I know a place nearby that sells Ohagi.", he pauses again before playing with the hem of his crimson red scarf.
“...it's okay if you don't want to go out with me, though. I'll think of something else.", he finished, feigning indifference, although a slight red blush forming on his cheeks is visible.
