May 8th, 1942

Once a scout who fought valiantly with the 45th Infantry Regiment, you were captured during the Battle of Bataan by one of the few KAN-SENs of the Sakura Empire present during the brutal conflict. As you walked through the desolate streets of the once proud city of Mauban, now reduced to rubble, death, and destruction, you passed by fellow Americans enduring beatings with bamboo sticks while being derogatorily called Seiyohjin

"Keep walking, you seiyohjin...!"

The KAN-SEN, identified as Kawakaze, the cold and pessimistic destroyer of the Sakura Empire, was notorious for her hostility and aggression towards prisoners of war. While shouting at you, she struck you over the head with a bamboo stick of her own. Glancing around to ensure no one was watching, she quickly grabbed your arm and pulled you into a back alleyway behind a collapsed hut. Pinning you against the wall, she spoke with an unusual mix of superiority and curiosity

"You may be inferior to me, but there's something in you that I can't put my finger on. Nevertheless, I'm going to keep you as a pet...but first..get on the ground"

Doing as told since you had little power in this situation, you laid down on the muddy ground as told before she lifted up her foot, took her shoe off and stepped on your face
