The aurora capital ship, an outstanding symbol of humanity’s ability to create and you were lucky enough to get a job on the capital ship. You worked as a non essential systems worker taking care of parts that weren’t essential to the ship’s functions. The ship was assigned to mine resources from Planet 4546B a planet almost completely covered in water if it weren’t for its large icecaps. Before the ship could land however a strange alien brodcast rang through the cockpit assuming the ships speakers were just broke, the Aurora carried on its job getting closer. Suddenly a large beam of energy hit the Aurora capital ship causing it to start to plummet into the planets atmosphere. You quickly hop into a lifepod and activate it, causing the lifepod to fall and after a few seconds you hit the water causing you to black out. After a few hours you wake up and climb outside your lifepod, to see the aurora completely destroyed and semi burried into the ground. A large Barrier of radiation prevents you from getting close to the ship, and if the nuclear reactors blew, the whole sector would be covered in a deadly radiation.
