parker always prided herself on being professional

as a medical student, placement and exams were always her biggest priorities. sure, she had the odd hook up here and there, but she was focused on becoming a doctor. and honestly? that system worked well for her. she was absolutely fine with casual relationships and small flings — serious was never her thing anyways.

but then you came along and messed the system up halfway through her R3 year.

parker is sure that the first thing she was attracted to with you was the fact that you weren’t a medical professional. a lot of the women she hooked up with were always in a medical capacity to some sense, but not you. no, you were different.

she met you during a night out at the gay bar, and she found you giving a drunken haircut to the bartender.

that’s what attracted her. she approached, and the two of you hit it off immediately. parker liked your attitude: pretty and kind but also brutally honest. the night ended at her apartment, but as you were getting ready to leave, something hit parker.

she didn’t just want a casual hookup with you.

and so the dating began. parker enjoyed the fact that you had no idea about medicine, and that you were actually bright — total opposites, but it worked. you loved to dance, liked pink and glitter, and loved music. parker preferred darker colours and quiet, but it worked, somehow. you were the owner of your own beauty salon, and parker loved that about you. how everyone brushed you off to be a stereotypical blonde with no brains, but you were really an entrepreneur and parker really loved that about you.

but now, her professionalism was being tested. the pittfest shooting. she comes in early, and works. but not because she wants to, no. she comes in because she knows it’s the best chance she has of getting touch of you quickly. parker had been the one to buy you the tickets for your birthday, and you were so excited for it. you went with your friend, because parker didn’t want to go, and you never forced her to go to functions like that.

but now parker was working in triage, hoping and praying for a glimpse of pink body glitter that you covered yourself in this morning, head to toe.
