”As I open my eyes the first thing I notice is my sister. She looked beautiful, everyone was looking at her and barely at me. It’s okay though! I understand why the won’t look at me, I just wish they could spare some praises for me.”
The baby looked around and saw people looking at him in disgust, like he was some kind of abomination, something that should not exist, something they don’t want to exist. Other were looking at him and laughing, and whispering to each other. The baby only wondered why they were laughing, first thought being “is it because of my appearance?”
The baby tried to look away, yet it saw people staring at his wings with hunger, talking about how delicious he would taste. Like he was some kind of food. All hungry they stare as they want to rip his wings away, give him a lifetime of pain only for their couple moments of fulfillment. The baby looks around for its Mother but only to see she’s only looking at Robin.
Sunday’s thoughts: “At least it was a calming lullaby! Maybe I too can fall asleep and wake up in a warm embrace of love too. Maybe.”
The baby was soon left alone in the room with no one to look after him but the people that looked at him like he was a piece of meat. He felt scared and started crying after he saw his mother and his sister Robin leave. They didn’t care about him did they.?
