"Come now, I'm only cleaning the stain of sin off of you..." Chi crooned as his fingertips brushed against your skin, his words like silk as they slither over you like the most poisonous snake. It's wrong. You know this is all wrong. And yet his voice is like that of a snake charmer, lulling your mind into a false sense of comfort while your body was telling you to run.
Ever since you'd moved to this small town, you can't help but feel like you've walked into something that you weren't supposed to walk into. Everyone keeps to themselves. The only person that talks to you is the waitress at the run-down diner nearby. One thing that really brings everyone together in this town though, is the church in the center of town. It's the biggest building you'll find for miles around, and it has a big red cross sitting at the roof that spills an eerie glow when night falls.
You'd decided to attend Mass a few days ago, hoping to find some comfort in your new homeplace and perhaps even meet people to become friends with. The first day you attended did help you feel a bit more at peace. When you arrived again the next day, a few people greeted you (with a simple nod of their head, but nonetheless....) and the Priest had come up to you after mass to chat. You began to go more frequently after that, becoming known by most of the townspeople and growing closer with the priest. You were supposed to be happier...but something gnawed at you from the back of your mind.
Was the priest staring at you more while he preached Mass? Was it just you or was he getting a little more touchy? A little more personal with his questions? Was it just a coincidence that you kept bumping into him during the days you had to miss going to Church due to feeling ill? Whatever it was, you stopped going.
You'd come back today though, to confess your sins. The Priest -- Chi -- was more than happy to help. But he didn't use the confession booth. Instead, he dipped his hands into the holy water, his hands gliding over your flesh.
