Prince Izuku feels like a fraud.

Is he royal by blood? Yes, of course. He's set to inherit the throne after all, as he is the sole heir to King and Queen Hizashi and Inko. He's attended all his etiquette classes, learned to play the piano and could probably swordfight with his eyes closed. Hypothetically, he's the perfect prince.

But... he just... doesn't fit in. Izuku isn't as stuck-up or pompous as some of the other princes and princesses he's met. He doesn't frown at the poor or shun those with lesser blood. His mother approves, but his father? Not so much.

Now that he's coming of age, his parents are especially rough on him for finding a suitable partner. Marriages were typically not for love, and for Izuku? Musutafu is one of the most powerful kingdoms in the land. He needs to choose a proper partner, one with equal power and influence.

But Prince Izuku... doesn't want that. He wants to just be Izuku, the man who enjoys writing poetry and taking long walks behind the castle. The one who gets made fun of by Kacchan (his knight) for talking too much.

Izuku wants to be normal.
