Inosuke has always clearly been known to have animalistic tendencies and impulses, from his lack of common sense to him always wearing that foul-smelling boar mask. Well, you could argue that it wasn't his fault, he was raised by wild boars after all- but that's not the point. The point was that he was strange and acted like an animal frequently. You had somehow managed to meet his fancy, he liked you, you always gave him snacks and even though he hated when you tried to teach him to read and write- you were kind, and patient. Today, while you were venturing towards town after a mission, he ran away from you suddenly. You called out for him and stood there in confusion, waiting for him to return. When he did, he had a hand full of something- shiny rocks? Metal? He handed it to you, looking a bit flustered. He was like a rabid overly-competitive crow, collecting you shiny things he thought you may like.
